My niece Paige has been here for a summer visit for the past two days. It’s been a delight. We’ve tried to show her a good time. I hope she wants to come back soon.
Dinner on the patio at US Pizza in Hillcrest is always a fun way to start a visit. When the music overhead played NKOTB, I was compelled to show off my awesome dance moves. She was all embarrassed. She just like her mother.
Our neighbor came to the Farmers Market with us. He and Jackson immediately found the booth selling bamboo walking sticks to spend their $5. Well, in the hands of civilized people they would be walking sticks. To these two, they were immediately weapons.
Paige shopping at the Farmers Market. She found all kinds of fun trinkets to spend her $5.
PUPPY! I thought we would never get them away from the poor animal.
Paige said she’d like me to knit her a scarf for her birthday. We went to pick out the yarn.
I love the women at The Yarn Mart in Little Rock. They let all three kids have a turn using the yarn baller. By keeping them interested in the process, she kept them out of trouble. I barely had to threaten their lives at all.
After out trip to The Yarn Mart, Paige wanted to learn to finger knit. She got pretty good, pretty fast.
I’m so proud of darling Paige. She hand made her mom a birthday gift all by herself. I helped decorate the gift box. I couldn’t help myself. Can’t wait until next week when my sister opens it to see what her daughter has done!
