Surviving Summer

We are coming to the end of summer. We have just over three weeks left before the kid goes back to school. We’re both gonna be ready for that.

Now, don’t get me wrong, we’ve had a great time this summer, but we’re starting to get on each other’s nerves. We’ve never spent this much time, just the two of us.

On the bright side, as a family we’ve done a ton of those things we always say we’re gonna do and hardly ever make the time. So that’s been nice.

We’re hanging in there. We have a few more adventures to go. Then we’re gonna light up the first grade!

  1. Love this recap. I am reminded of how ready I was to return to school when I was a student. RE: photo on Pinnacle. Not sure how to interpret that expression on Charlie’s face…and does he have a death grip (“STAY STILL SON!”) on J’s shoulder? 🙂
