A part of me always thinks it would be fun to open a little shop. It would have a blue door and bell that rings when customers enter.
I don’t like to think about the pesky parts like vendors, employees, rent, blah blah blah. Reality has this way of messing up perfectly nice day dreams.
This summer of handful of forces converged to cause me to do the next best thing:
- In an anxiety-driven fit, I began hot gluing, knitting and stitching everything in sight.
- I also began cleaning out and trying to purge closets and drawers.
- I had a babysitter one afternoon and huge writing deadline.
So I opened an Etsy Shop.
It doesn’t have a blue door and you have to imagine the bell when the page loads, but keep it in mind for your next birthday, baby or wedding gift.
Who knows? One day I might greet you at the door of my brick and mortar store.
