Telling Stories of Sweet Love

Last year, my friend Kelli Marks opened a bakery named Sweet Love. This weekend, she threw a birthday party to celebrate her success.

Kelli and her husband Brad. Aren't the sweet?

Katy Kat and I decided to get dressed up and join the fun.

We are not talking about how grown up she looks. Or how she has to lean over to be in a photo with me. We're just not talking about.

The company was lovely and treats were as delicious as you would expect.

So tasty it's flat out sinful.

The talented SaraBeth Jones took photos of the event. She captured so many smiling faces, but also something else.

See Kelli on the right having a lovely conversation. And there I am on the left demonstrating some kind of something that was HUGE! (Getcher mind out of the gutter.)

That’s not really so bad. So I talk with my hands?

Look at these stunning ladies. So dignified, so put together. But, hey... what's going on over there?

Yes, folks. It’s what you think.

That's me. Acting out the Chariots of Fire, only not really. I can't just talk with my hands, you see. My whole body must get in on the action.

And that is why I really should never be let out in public.

  1. I am getting caught up on your blog. We totally need to meet and go out in public together and act a-fool.
